Image Overlay ○ Multiblock Alignment

What the Image Overlay feature does:

In Fluid Engine, you can now add color overlays to your images, and choose a blend mode.

What’s a blend mode you ask? If you’re familiar with photoshop, then you will recognize this immediately. Otherwise, blend mode creates additional options for how your image will appear.

Available Color Overlay Blend Modes:

• Multiply

• Screen

• Overlay

• Darken

• Lighten

• Color Dodge

• Color Burn

• Hard Light

• Soft Light

• Difference

• Exclusion

• Hue

• Saturation

• Color

• Luminosity

Benefits of this feature:

• Create visual interest (or as we say — Pizazz!)

• Display graphics that tie into your brand colors

Tips on using this Image Overlay:

• Be consistent. Try to avoid applying an effect just because it’s available - does this image treatment make sense for your style and vibe?
  

• You can set the opacity to a specific percentage and choose a different blend mode for interesting effects while achieving consistency!

What the Multiblock Alignment feature does:

You can now select multiple blocks and choose to align them to each other according to the Left side edge of the block, center, or right side edge. It’s a quicker way to clean up the alignment of multiple blocks on the page.
